Re: Discuss Joomla! 5.2.2
Because nobody tested the patch before 5.2.1 RC was released. Now it will go into 5.2.2. Also it's the wrong fix for the issue.

Re: Discuss Joomla! 5.2.2
The second human test for this PR came in too late to include it in Joomla 5.2.2,darb wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 5:41 pmhttps://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/44358
Why have this issue not been merged at this time??

Re: Discuss Joomla! 5.2.2
Remote sites and a local Joomla 5.2.1 site updated without any issues. Thanks to the developers, testers and the release team involved!
Interesting to see how the latest version of Kunena, 6.3.6, refused to be updated until the website had Joomla 5.2.2: "Joomla! 5.2.1 is not supported. Minimum required version is Joomla! 5.2.2, but it is highly recommended to use Joomla! 5.2.2 or later."

Re: Discuss Joomla! 5.2.2
Off-topic: I had no difficulty updating Kunena 6.3.6 --> 6.3.7 on Joomla 4.4.9.
See Kunena GitHub for more information: https://github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/ ... script.php (lines 43 and lines 87-92).

"Also it's the wrong fix for the issue." What you mean? It is not the wrong fix for the issue!
