Hi I received this when I upgrade to 2.5.7

Database schema version (2.5.7) does not match CMS version (2.5.6).

Database schema version (in #__schemas): 2.5.7.
Update version (in #__extensions): 2.5.6.
Database driver: mysql.
66 database changes were checked successfully.
26 database changes did not alter table structure and were skipped.

In global configuration>system set the Debug System option to No. You would not run a live site with this enabled.

1.
Please help. I got this error:
ERROR:
Could not open .../public_html/joomla.xml for writing.
I don't have joomla.xml file on my server!

EDIT: ok, I just copied joomla.xml file from my other server and the update went fine. But same error at the end: failed deleting joomla.xml

2.
On my other server there is an error to. It says:
Could not open .../public_html/htaccess.txt for writing.
But here I don't have this file! Only have .htaccess

EDIT: ok, copied .htaccess and rename it to htaccess.txt, then update started. But after successfully updated it says error: failed deleting joomla.xml

Otherwise it's looking good everything.

-----

Do you think my update went ok? Is it ok to copy joomla.xml file from another server? What about that error at the end?

I upgraded from 2.5.6 to 2.5.7 and received this error:

Fatal error: Class 'JModelLegacy' not found in /home/seekwith/public_html/online-meditation/administrator/modules/mod_popular/helper.php on line 9

Now I cannot access my control panel. It appears that I can do everything else on the backend and the frontend is okay. Can someone please help me with this?

I think I posted this in the wrong area so I reposted in the Bug Report.

The first couple of upgrades I've done went fine, no issues at all.

I have upgraded two sites. One on IIS and the other on Apache/Linux. Both went well.

mladiucitelj: I think you have a file permission issue on your server. Start a new topic in the Installation forum about the issue and use the Forum Post Assistant.

After upgrading on Friday, someone reported that logging in took forever, because Recaptcha was being looked for. I have Recaptcha disabled!

Yesterday, the Recaptcha loomed again when other javascript on the site was broken.

Since upgraded, I have noticed that all modules marked for other groups than public groups are not shown any longer when people are logged in.

Same behavior with all templates and whatever positions (atomic, beez or my default template)

Seems like users are correctly logged in but modules corresponding to logged in groups are not shown any longer.

Did any one report the same problem ?

@ alterna
I am seeing a similar problem. The CSS of one module is broken when one first visits a page and when logged in. On logging out, the module appears correctly.

Just a heads up on compatability for components

If you are running EasyBlog v3.5.12510
and upgrade to joomla 2.5.7 you will HAVE TO install jcomments and activate the plugin
even though you tell EasyBlog not to use it as it commenting engine.

For some reason, Easyblog needs the plugin just to get loaded in joomla 2.5.7
