.com vs .com.cn/.cn for SEO

Hi guys,

I'm planning to make one website for a company based in China, and because of that licensing stuff, im thinking of using .com instead, will it affect my SEO ranking in baidu.

Also, I'm planning to host my website in Hongkong server, do you think it will help me to get good ranking in Baidu？
