HTML not working on Contacts/Misc Info

I've been told that HTML should work on Joomla! 1.5 in Contacts/Misc Info box.  I created a test user and wrote basic tags (bold, italics, h1-5, and link tags) to test it out.  When I view the contact from the frontend (using the Contact Category Layout menu link) I don't see any of the tags, just plain text.

Then, if I go back into the user to edit them (in the Admin panel) the HTML tags are mysteriously gone and just the plain text is there.

Any thoughts?

This is a known error, and it's fixed in svn. So it will be included in J!1.5.1
