How to remove the joomla 1.0.13 copyright info

How do i remove the bit on the bottom of my website that says "Powered by Joomla!. Valid XHTML and CSS

Hi, it depends on which template you are using.

If it's the default Rhuk Solarflare template, you will find the copyright code in the " includes/footer.php " file. If it's a different template, then could be in the index.php file itself.

Not sure about the admin copyright, never needed to remove it.

Hi there...

On the front end ( if you are using the default Joomla templates ) you will find the file at:

http://www.yoursite.com/includes/footer.php
( both Joomla 1.5 or 1.0 )

On the back end:

Code: Select all

http://www.yoursite.com/administrator/templates/khepri/index.php
( Joomla 1.5 )

Code: Select all

http://www.yoursite.com/administrator/templates/joomla_admin/index.php
( Joomla 1.0 )
