no possibility to select ie8 in Joomla 1.5 bugtracker

Hi,

yesterday I submitted a bug report which appears only in browser Internet Explorer 8. I found out I couldn't select that browser, so selected N/A. I hope someone can add this browser in the future.

Is it hard to update, or isn't it important?

It's hard to update, as we don't have the source of the software it's running on (Gforge). This means we can't change it.

Thanks. I didn't know about this bug reporting here.
It seems that a lot of sites have problem with IE8. I personally have a few css problems with IE8.
I really hope that everyone will move to Firefox as it is far superior than IE crap.

Hi,

I had a look in the tracker admin and found the browser field and it's value list. So... we can simply add browsers. I'll check with the bug squad and if they are ok, I'll add the browsers.

Both options are now available on the 1.5 and 1.6 trackers. Thanks for the heads up.
