Is there a complete PDF or HTML zip download of the documentation/help files?

Hi all,

Is there a complete PDF or HTML zip download of the documentation/help files?
I understand that one can manually get a pdf page generated from each html help file on
help.joomla.org.

However, if I'm offline and would like to look at the documentation in full, is it available?
Maybe a zip of different forum topics as a download would also be nice.

Sometimes it's not always possible to be online to look at the documentation  and forum Q/A?

Right now we don't have enough volunteers to get that ball rolling.  But it is something for the to do list.  PDF for both the developer and administrator is something that has been requested by many.  Many have offered, but it does take some time to keep the PDF docs updated with the changes that we make regularly to the docs on the help site.

It would probably take a team of two or three to create and maintain the pdf.

Right now, my preference if we have new members to the doc team that they join the help screen team or the chapters team of the administrator manual for writing, editing and proof-reading.

There is still so much to do just to finish writing our draft copy of the chapters and to edit and proof-read the Help Screens.

Any volunteers???  This is a great way to contribute back to the Joomla project!
