Re: THANK YOU ALL!!
I want to join the others in saying thank you to all the developers and others who have made this product what it is today. Without you, I could never have a site with the functionality of this one. I've tested bunches of CMS"s, and was ready to throw my hands up in frustration. I finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.
Edit: Yippee! I'm not a newbie any more. This is post number 50.

With well over 2,000 forum members in its first 10 days I think you can count on 'the community' being behind what you are doing and getting involved, Rey.stingrey wrote: To those that have shown their support so far and those that will ...

Haha... yeah, I think that was at some Microsoft convention a few years ago. If you liked that video, I guarantee you'll like this one just as much. It happened a few days earlier I believe.damog wrote:Where it was shooted? This is hilarious, I haven't seen it before.elnino wrote: Even Steve Ballmer agrees with the Dev Team... Developers. If only my staff were *that* enthusiastic about working for our company. I guess if I paid them what Steve earns they might be.

Having worked for many top commercial software vendors as an Independent Software Quality Assurance Engineer, I have witnessed corporate illogicality at the highest levels. I have also seen wonderful organizations wither or die once taken over by injudicious people. Clearly, the development team is the HEART of this project. I wish you the best in carrying on with YOUR success.

Re: THANK YOU ALL!!
I got 3 words for you!
I LOVE YOU
Well, maybe not but you cannot blame me for feeling that way. I mean, the product can speak for itself, but it seems fairly obvious to me that there is a community here.
I posted about this site on my site and I am sure a ton of people will come here to see how it(and by it I mean your Beautiful Content Management Solution) changes. This leads me to my next topic... Which I am going to go find another forum to post in because all I really wanted to do here was express my gratitude for the Beautiful CMS you have produced.
I indulge it with respect and curiosity, only to find I have to ask you how to use it here and you always have an answer because you are the real community, each and every single one of you reading this right now. We are connected, every child, every woman and every man, every monkey, every dog, ever species, every tree, every rock, every thing.. at the deepest levels of frequency to the highest point in time for ... ok, now I am being too enthusiastic I think but maybe not.
I just noticed how you have posted a plaque looking bunch of pictures on the front of your site here at OSM and I really felt how truly nice most people are.
I have one thing I have learned that makes sense at this point and that is that any anger, stress, fraustration, doubt, feelings of sickness or depression, hate or sadness, weakness, negative feelings... These are caused by a lack of complete understanding of the final situation and/or the reason you were put in that state of mind in the first place. Because everything is a reaction to something else.
You have instincts and are infinitely able and willing.
If anyone needs any help let me know. I have just begun indulging in this amazing php language you have here and let me tell you, it is pretty fun stuff. I dont know why, but, well maybe I do. I am addicted.
Anyways, take care and keep up this amazing peice of software no matter where it goes!
Ryan

Ryan,
The team has become so aware of the depth of feeling people have for the project formerly known as Mambo. We live it and breathe it. And it's the kind words from people like yourself that make the effort worthwhile.
Great to see you here at OpenSourceMatters.
Pete
