Two things folks,
Is it possible to set up the forum so that we don't have to look at our own pics at the top of each page? I wholeheartedly agree with using our own pics as avatars, but would love to not have to see my own face at the top of each page.
Can we setup some tech support forums/folders and get to business supporting folks using the codebase? We have clearly begun the process of grafting in the known developers in this community, and a few of the userbase, but to gain more support and connect better to that userbase, we need the tech support forums.
You have a lot to do, so please don't consider these priorities, but would be nice.
Thanks,
GRAM

If you click on the up arrow in the top right, that section of the layout will shrink.

Not curious enough to try?
There are already a lot people here that also use SMF. Maybe it's nice to create a SMF-FAQ somewhere around here...

you can also look into your personal prefrences,.. you can turn on or off any thing you deem not neccessary with the look and layout.. like, quick reply.. if oyu want to show other avatars or not, sig,.. etc.. just tinker on.. that drive of inquisitiveness what usually drives us in development. ahihihi

Jinx: Thanks!!! Thats going to do a lot for helping us retain new users..

Thanks for the tips. Before posting this thread, I tried both of those options. Using the arrow to eliminate that section of the page also eliminates the "show unread posts" link, which is an awesome feature. I did notice that someone else had bookmarked the link, then eliminated that area using the arrow. Might have to pursue that.
The Personal Preferences section does not have the option of turning the pic at the top of our screens off (or somehow I missed it... Good possibility given my attention span today)..
I guess I will just need to get accustomed to seeing my mug on the screen , hope my monitor can take the punishment, not sure my eyes can

Could be a template issue, will try to look at it when the fog clears out.
