RSFORM not sending emails

Man I tried everything.

I cannot get the RS forms to send email and what is the worst part is that I bought it.

I am using Joomla version 1.0.13.

The problem is that is does not send the information to the default email. It does send to the emails I enter in the "email form data to".
I checked if my Joomla is not sending mail but it does. I even turned off my spam filter.

Is there someone out there that can help me.

Strange?! RSform forum is closed, I can't get an answer. I'm sure it's simple error.

Hello,

please edit your form, and make sure that:

1. Email form data from: is not one of the emails contained in Email form data to:
2. Email subject and Email Text are not empty.

Usually these 2 errors are being made. In other cases, the Joomla mail config is not good, and Joomla does not send e-mails. Check that also. Let me know.

I have the same problem, but I have checked both of these areas you have indicated. I have also checked my smtp details on Joomla and they are working :-| I dunno what to do

if you bought RS Forms their support is great.

in my case it was the form field in the admin and user forms - they need to be email addresses, not jusy - The Admin or some other name....

equally - are you receiving other emails from your site - if so the problem is with RS Forms if NOT then it's probably a problem with your site email set up...

I'm using normal RS Forms (free version) and not the pro version. The website email works fine, yet the forms are not posting...

I am really so frustrated

lookagain at where you've set up the admin and user emails linked to the form - the from fields need to be email addresses

in any event you probably want to go the RS Form forum...

Yes I agree about going to the RSForms forum. Thanks for your help though. By the way off the topic, just saw you're in Marbella. I'm a born South African who used to live in Estepona. Would love to go back one day, I miss it :-)

Hi stickleback and crazywazza I'm born in SA and still in SA. I love Joomla but it look like the problem is with Joomla, I registered on the Joomla site more than a week ago and still did not get my confirmation e-mail also Jforms is not sending mail. I do have one form that is sending mail to admin but not to the client but one form don't send mail at all.

if I remember correctly you have to set p email rpleies for both the admin AND the client (you may want different messages) so don't expect anything to be automatic...

Im have the same problem...
I do all to solve this problem. Rs form its not work to send the message to a simple email address!
Im feel tyred I dont know more what can I do!
I use all tutorial steps I used the placeholders and I cannot receive messages sending by form. I receive the emails but messages are blank! I need talk about this with the somebody that can help me
