JA T3 Joomla Business 6 multilanguage

Post by xega » Tue Dec 27, 2011 3:10 pm

Hi!

I'm trying to get a 3 language site working with the above mentioned template. But in the Template Manager: Edit Style -> Profiles -> Menu settings -> Menu type, you can only select one menu. And since I have created a menu for each language (as per the tutorial for multi-language support), I can only have one menu visible?

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

well that means you can only have one menu available from the primary menu area. You can always place any menu in any other position on the site.
Another option would be to use the Template Styles options in 1.7 to create a new template style, assign it to a set of menu items related to a language, and then place a different menu in that main menu spot.
Respectfully,

Hi Jon

I have now duplicated the template 3 times and assigned one to each language, but the only template that seems to work is the default (which is the 4th). And even if I use the language switchers, the only menu that is displayed is the default.
