Using VAL Simple Poll in 2.5

I've downloaded this and it says it's installed..
I have a blank VAL Poll box on thepage I want it on but I cannot discover, from their site or mine, how to set the Poll up.
I've asked them for assistance and hope it will be given but its been a few days.

Can anyone advise me if VAL Simple Poll is usable under 2.5 and if so where the backend edit/create section is located.

The extension you are referring to is not certified to work with Joomla! 2.5.

Even with/in Joomla! 1.5, the extension would work only with the core Joomla!'s Poll component.

Oh, well, off it comes and I'll try and find something else..

I don't see Polls in Components as it is in 1.5..

Is it included elsewhere? I'm happy to use the Joomla version anyway, just couldn't see it.

Polls component has been discontinued in Joomla! 2.5. You have to use an extension for this.

I think I'll not go with it either.. I've checked the range of extensions and none seem very useful..
