Star Trek Fans.

Post by theperthgirls » Tue Apr 04, 2006 10:20 am

OKKKK - I have now seen it all.

I started a new job the other day.  I am sitting down next to the new boss and looking at the name of the servers.  Yes would you believe it, they are all Star Trek characters  and geekier still ----> I am a huge fan!!!!!!!

Two female star trek fans in one small office!!! I even started thinking what I was going to name the next server, I am sure there is going to be a huge debate before it is decided.

That sounds like a good office! I LOVE to have heated and passionate debates about silly stuff Great fun; I know they are going to really love having you there. You obviously are committed to good things. AWESOME!

You know what you have to do.

Don't admit your Trekkieness just yet. Instead, bring a couple of cheap Star Wars toys and put them on your desk. Buy a couple of used (and well-worn) SW novels and put them in plain sight. Then find and print some list of "Ten reasons Star Wars is better than Star Trek".

Oh, and rename your PC to "Leia" or something like that.

I'm not a huge fan of either (Babylon 5 / Firefly geek myself) but it's a lot of fun to antagonize in the name of that rivalry.

klingon directory with the intention of producing a joomla - klingon translation
    I too have a Klingon dictionary that I brought off ebay to go with my Klingon recipe book!!!!!!  What an interesting idea!!!!

I translated this for you:  thrown in a few english words to confuse -

Joomla - Dun cms leS je tIv the tIhIngan wo Suv  'et 'oH batlh may 'oh Sal cha' stovacore

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the translation for the word Joomla???????

Yes, there is a server called Q, however, spelt a different way cos it would not accept a 1 letter name apparently.
