Logged in-Module shows. Logged out - disappears

I have a simple html module that I put up today that just disappears when I log out of the front end.

It is set to public access.

I have just set up Tabs and Sliders plugin. It works on any browser where the user is logged in. It disappears after logging out.

Has anyone seen this? Is it something obvious I am missing?

That sounds odd, if the public page and the page that logged-in users see use the same template. If the template position selected in the module exists, instead of 'Selected pages', you could opt for 'All pages' and see what happens.

Remember to clear the cache in the browser and the back end. Some third party templates have their own caching mechanism as well.
