Can't Published menu after I update to Joomla 3.7.2

now I am having problem after i updated to joomla 3.7.2, my home such as (home, edit and other) can't Published them.

The field wont change
The field changes but the save button doesn't work
The field changes and the save button works but the change doesn't save
When you try to change the value of the field the computer blows up

- The menu title, alias and every thing can change but only the status when I choose to published and save it, it still show unpublished for me...

- If my menus are publishing after I update menu title or something in there and save them. Those menus will be change to unpublished eventhough I don't choose them to unpublished.

In the screen that displays the menu items ... can you change the status ?

Yes, I can select the status to published or unpublished but when I saved it, the status is unpublished all the time..


To fix it by myself, I go to PHPMYAdmin and change the publish value from 0 to 1 and the menu is enable for me...

Looks like you had K2 installed then uninstalled it. All the menus/items probably relied on the k12 menu item

Addendum
While having a quick look I broke your site ... changing the default menu item unpublished it. This meant that the site became unavailable

So I thought I would publish it manually in the database. Spotted the 'Menu item root' was not published (3rd party extension unpublished it to favour it's own menu perhaps) ... anyway setting that to '1' all ok now. Don't normally mess with the DB but seeing as I broke your site I made an exception All I wanted to do was have a quick look see if it was a bug

Here's what fixed the issue for me:

I found in my Menu table the mainmenu/Menu-Item-Root was unpublished (set to 0), so I published it via phpmyadmin (set it to 1).

When I refreshed I found my whole site returned an error. But figured that this may have been because I wasn't on the home page when I refreshed.

So I unpublished the Menu-Item-Root via phpmyadmin again, and then changed my site to the home page.

Went back to phpmyadmin and republished the Menu-Item-Root in phpmyadmin.

Went back to home page and refreshed - no error and site OK.

Hope this helps somebody else.
