Joomla 3 + IIS + SSO

Post by oleg_aga » Wed Apr 11, 2018 3:34 pm

Hi All,

I'm playing around the above subj for a few days already and seems to can't find the way forward.
I have:

Windows 2012 domain + IIS
Joomla 3 site + PHP + MySql

I'm trying to bind Shmanic platform version 2 along with SSO.
LDAP is working and I can sign in from the PC in the domain however SSO isn't working.
SSO-dummy is working well but nothing else. I already read a lot from the web (forums, guides and so in) but still stuck.
Is there any detailed guide on how to configure both IIS and Shmanic plugins to work together, SSO in particular.

If thereare other plugins available apart Shmanic I can try them too. Main idea is to authorize users from two parent domains and Shmanic seems to be good choice as it supports multiple LDAP configurations.

BR,
Oleg

Thanks for that,
My IIS instance is already installed and Joomla is working on it . No problems . My question was basically related to LDAP SSO . JMapMyLDAP v2 in particular.

All sorted.
If Shmanic LDAP plugin is configured correctly (manual hels a lot) the only thing you have to do is to add web site to 'Trusted Sites' and enable auto-logon for current user in the options. This can be done via GPO or manually. IIS integrated authentication should be enabled and anonymous logon disabled.

Hello Oleg, thanks a lot. I've been searching how to fix this. My scenarios is a little bit different because actually i'm using RedHat server.

I would like to know how to make SSO works on this OS. Can you share the detailed path of the Group Policies enabled to allow it works with IIS?

I'll be working to check if Joomla site runs without problems in IIS tonight.

Greetings,

Jason

My site is restored perfectly on Windows and it works perfectly. I configured the Shmanic plugins, however after that the SSO not works.

I'm getting this errors
