Google Maps API Issue

Am helping a friend out with her website.
She wants a Google Map installed on her contact page.
I have never used Joomla before.

I tried adding the Google Map from "Add Items" It shows "This page can't load Google Maps correctly."
Is this to do with the API key or something wrong in Joomla?

Often easier to use a plugin for google maps like (https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... oogle-map/) .

Thanks GWS, this is the plugin I am using but still is giving me issues.
Shows the GMap with "For Development Purposes" and doesn't allow the location to be saved.
I have input a API key from Google but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Is the API key for the domain you are using?

Yes, we generated a new one as the Google Maps API page changed

Try https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/phoca-maps/ also you can use https://www.freemaptools.com/map-tools.htm to create kpl files.
