JED Ticket without reply for about 2months

Hello,

I have opened a ticket in "Current Listing Support" about my unpublished extension on 1st August. After 3 weeks without any reply to that I have created a new ticket in "Unpublished Support" - which has been assigned to Jaz Parkyn and now is 1month without any reply.

I always keep being patient with no complains over the years, understanding that there might be quite a queue. However this is really frustrating moreover when I read in other topic a reply by Anibal that admins always reply within 7 days to the ticket.

Also Im a bit nervous about it, afraid that I will recieve some uncertain negative answer, sending the ticket back to the end of queue and waiting again few months for next reply.

Dont get me wrong, I have already experience with this, when few years ago my extension was unpublished and it took about 1 whole year to make it published again! As everytime it took like 1 month to get a reply.. so you can clearly imagine the frustration.

Another week passed and no reaction here..niether in tickets.

What is going on?

Hi Anibal,
thank you very much for reviewing my tickets. I recieved the negative reply to ticket#22112 that there is still considered an issue. However without any further explanation. Would it be possible to recieve a more detailed answer what exactly is the problem there? You know this is frustrating to wait more than 2 months for a single sentence reply that there is still something wrong, so the extension cannot be republished. And now I should guess what exactly it is and take a chance with trying to make another re-publish ticket request withouth being sure that I actually fixed the problem.

Hi,

If you have questions, you can send a new inquiry to the support area. The support specialist can check the history of the account and inform you of the current status, and if it is possible to take a new action to reinstate the extension.

Please, send a new ticket to the Reported Extensions area.

thank your very much for lightning fast reply! Actually I have made already some steps on website to try to solve the potential problem and made a new ticket. I will hope now that the specialist will get to it soon now :)

Hi again,

it has been 3 weeks now and the new ticket #22730 is still without reaction. This is what I feared, last answer that came after 2 monts was did not contain any explanation of what is actually wrong and should be solved. Just that there is something that prevent from re-publishing.

It is now almost 3 months since unpublishing the extension and yet I do not know, what exactly is the reason. I have tried to do some steps about what I guessed that could be wrong, but who knows...

Is it possible to take a look at it please?... Please.

Hi Anibal,

I simply do not understand, what is against GPL in our terms and conditions. Moreover as now they have been cut into simple reference to the actual GPL. Actually just like have some major Joomla Developers.

If you cannot discuss it more here on public forum, please give me detailed answer into the ticket.

Hi,

You can check the emails of the times when the extension was unpublished on 5/21/16, 9/15/16, 8/1/18 and 8/1/18.

We can understand one random issue, but it is rare for us an extension with so many strikes.

thank you for reply. On 8/1/18 when extension has been upublished - the reason described in email has been solved, both:
- in the extension code
- in the terms and conditions on website

At least I honestly believe so. If you feel it differently, I kindly ask to give the feedback about it, not like "there is still something preventing publishing". I will gladly do my best to fix what bothers you then.

Hi Anibal,

I know this not the place to solve such things, Im still waiting for ticket reply - is like "waiting for Godot". But honestly this the only place where is actually someone responding. Again, the ticket from 5th October that I created as you guided me earlier in this conversation is still unreplied after another 1 month.
Could you imagine how frustrating is that - as example - we can exchange 6messages during 3hours here and same conversation would take half a year within a support tickets?

That is why I went here, kindly asking for help with this situation.

JED look like private club now.
Cant get in also with small free plugin. Opened a ticket did nothing - it was closed with "we lack of peoples" respond so this is dead end.

Hi,

All tickets are answered within a week. If you follow the guidelines (e.g. a GPL-licensed extension) and submit a checked extension, then it is published as soon as possible.

yes. ticket was close after week, but "pending" status of extension still here after month without response.
so i wondering about goal of this fast one-week ticket's answer which do nothing.

I keep hearing this, but my original ticket was created on 1st August - replied on 4th October

Next ticket created on 5th October ... still unreplied on 6th November
