Do you have a contact form on your site using the contact component?

In the options hide the "Send Copy To Yourself" option.

If bots are harvesting emails directly from your site (i.e. <a href="mailto:you@yoursite.com">Email</a> tags), perhaps masking email links in your site would help, such as with this extension:
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... protector/.

You could also use a security tool - Akeeba Tools, RSFirewall etc to block IP's or a range of IP's, the aforementioned and others can be found here: https://extensions.joomla.org/tags/site-security/

A bounce-back message occurs in the form of an email that is sent to your account after the failure to deliver a message that you have attempted to send.
You or somebody else or an unknown script from your server trying to send mass email to this wrong email address which is not being delivered. So you are getting a bounce back information email.

Try to scan your website for malware. There might be some unknown script which is trying to send email to their targeted system.

You have an email address showing in the footer. Have you disabled the email cloack plugin, because this address is not obfuscated?

The email message may not originate from you, but anyone can set your address as sender and send from any server. Make a SPF record in DNS to set the servers that can send mail on your domains behalf.
