Hello everyone,
I need some advice how to fix Google Maps location on my Joomla site. Maybe someone could tell me how to fix that API problem with Google. On my Joomla website now I see message: For development purposes only.

If you are running a Joomla website for a business, or any acknowledged project, it is very important to embed a Google map on your site. A map is a good ‘navigator’ to get customers directly proceed to a brand’s address and update the website credibility in visitors’ eyes.

So you just need to add a Google Maps location on your site?
If so, you can just type the address in Google, open in Google Maps, and click on "Share".
It will give you a link, which you will need to place (html/iframe) on the website. Copy paste.
The last lines are width and height, you could change them with % if you want it to be responsive.

Hi,
I know that Google requires a bank card to be registered for payment to use the maps with API key.
Please If I'm wrong someone correct me.
Only the maps embedding code can now be used.

You could explore Open street maps which are free. https://www.openstreetmap.org

Google Maps (API- such as would be required for joomla extensions and others) is now a subscription service, no longer free. It seems simple embedding a Google map (not via API) is still possible.

I came across the same issue with SP Page Builder (Google Maps Add-in); so I use Open Street Maps now.

Yes, there's a difference.
Maybe Jan from Phoca Maps can point out what the latest requirements of Google
