Is Joomla website easy to Rank? Please suggest
Hey everyone,
From last 3 years I have used WordPress for all my blogs. So I've quite a good experience with WordPress.I am helping my friend to establish his niche blog but he wanted his website to be designed in Joomla.
Can anyone suggest is Joomla is good choice. My primary concern is how user friendly it is compared to wordpress, is it difficult to rank a Joomla website, are there enough free plugins available?
Thanks and Regsrds,
Debasis

I'd suggest, starting with the documentation found at https://docs.joomla.org and set up a free site: https://launch.joomla.org.
Then feel free to ask questions on the forum here.
Extensions can be found at https://extensions.joomla.org
It depends on your transferable skills from WP......I mean, if you can write pages and posts in WP, install themes, install plugins, and so on in WP you can use Joomla. Just remember though - Joomla is not a blogging platform, WP is.

Honestly, the platform you choose to use whether you are using Joomla, Wordpress, Wix, Etc., does not have an advantage over the other in terms of ranking better. As long as you stick to the fundamentals of SEO, publishing good contact, link building, etc., you are going to rank.

I dont agree but thats my opinion.the platform you choose to use whether you are using Joomla, Wordpress, Wix, Etc., does not have an advantage over the other in terms of ranking better.
This is crucial what you can do and how you can work with improving your web site for a better top ranking deepening on chosen technology and strategy. All these requirements that for example Google need for ranking your web site on top is a must have otherwise you are dead if your site need to be top ranked and you don’t know what you are doing.
And all system out there doesn’t have or can fulfil all these requirements that is an always non-stop never ever changing game for Google algorithms behaviour and system meet ups that you have to understand and have insights in.
You can’t built a Dreamwever site or put up a html page and think you will be on ranking top with top ranking words like "Travel" etc. and think you will have the same chance as a fully built SEO system.
Thats a dream. Its so many many things you have to consider and understand.

What is your niche blog about?
Did you check EasyBlog and what is your opinion about it? Anything missing?
