Programs and tools to edit or create images
Hello,
which image editing programs you use?
I am interested in Adobe illustrator and adobe Corel and can't decide.
I need a program to create or edit images for the website, need to create button image, logo, and everything for the website.
I have used adobe fireworks for a while to create elements and structure of the website, but personally, I am not happy with creating and editing images in adobe fireworks.
What programs do you use and what is the best recommendation.

FWIW, I've started using Serif's Affinity programs, Photo, Designer and Publisher and won't be going back to Adobe. They are inexpensive, fast, and don't lock you in to Adobe's subscription model.

Wow, I watched the video and the presentation. I think the program is very good and simple.
I think I'll try this too.

It depends on how much you want to edit and how complicated it is. Illustrator is good for creating and editing vector graphics. I use photoshop but most because I do photography editing anyways. likely it is an overkill for most website tasks. If you just want some simple editing like cropping, drawing shapes, adding text etc. you may get by even with some online photo editing tools.

This program helped me so much! I am currently just editing photos and using the hole opportunities to check Affinity Photo, and I’ve been playing around with affinity designers for about a few months! I enjoy doing [youtube] videos on Affinity products and often get inspiration for various topics to address.

There are many photo editing software you can use. Some to mention are Skylum Aurora, Canva, GIMP, etc.

Hi there,
I use GIMP, it covers most of the tasks that are needed, crop, adjust color, resize, export, change format, etc... Although it is not generality, the truth is that you almost never end up using all the functionalities of a program as large as Photoshop.

Maybe here you need consider CSS.
You can think of some online tool that allows you to use SVG directly, like Vectr.

I've recently discovered Procreate on my iPad which I've found to be really intuitive. Strongly recommend if you're comfortable free-drawing stuff.
I'm also a fan of Canva for quick, fast, simple edits that need to be done quickly, especially when you're on the move because the app is far more intuitive now. Photoshop is on my list to master.
