Hello everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with my Joomla site after attempting to upload and install the MagicSlide extension. The installation process seemed to go well initially, but now when I try to access my site or administrationa panel I receive the following error, and

"This page isn’t working, HTTP ERROR 500


Details of the Issue:
Joomla Version: 2.3 (please specify the exact version if known)
PHP Version: 5.5(please specify the exact version if known)
MagicSlide Extension Version: v3.4.3 [v1.6.96:v3.2.12]
Hosting Environment: microsoft-iis

Joomla 5 does not work properly with php 5.5, you need php 8

but my joomla version is 2

@gws, the post has been moved to the 2.5.x forum (see the mod note under the OP from @imanikcam)

@gokul_pradsad_N - Joomla 2.5 has been out of support for 10 years. I would be looking at migrating to (at minimum) Joomla 4. I can't find "Magicslide" on the JED but googling found "Magicslideshow" - which has a Joomla 3 and a Joomla 4 version.

Using out-of-date Joomla let alone EOL PHP is very risky in terms of your site or server being hacked.
