multilingual frontend does not work

Post by jmgroud » Tue May 21, 2024 12:15 pm

Hello

I installed a new site "Joomla" 5.1.0 with several languages.
In the "System"/"Languages" and "System"/"Content languages" menu, I have 7 languages including French as the default language;
All this seems OK to me except for the "Home" column which is always "NO" (I don't know what this information is for, or how to modify it...).

On the other hand, when I want to create an account, the drop-down list supposed to contain the content languages is empty...
When I try to display also by language change module the list is also empty.
I must have forgotten something somewhere, right? But where ?

Thank you in advance for your ideas...

Code: Select all

the "Home" column which is always "NO"
None of your illustrations show this and I don't recognise it. In which form do you see this>

Check that the System - Language Filter plugin is enabled and check its settings.

I found the problem...
I need to create 1 menu and 1 menu module per language, and create a link in each menu that will be considered default.
