basic structure we are working with @joomlasticman on that(after his return-of-the-come-back-appearance ehhehe).
template wala pa. since aldrin medyo occupied na masyado; can i ask anyone with designing skills to provide a sample or draft design?

pag dating sa coding/slicing into css template WALA ng prob pag dating dyan, kahit samahan pa ng moo-fx, ajax, SiFR, at kung ano-ano pang template coding tricks in the book  :)

so as of now, basically needs DESIGN.

May point ka pre nice Idea yun para dahandahan na lang ang progress ng template pero ang contents madali na
ma conceptualize basta may temporary na template ;)

Good Question!

I'd say the directions are endless. Let me list some:

1.  Our own J! extensions directed toward Filipino J!-powered websites. I have read somewhere in this forum that many are volunteering as coders. That must mean we can create our own library of components, modules, plugins, etc.  Let's put those coders together and showcase our OWN extensions on our web site.  Let's make it a point that our primary audience for these extensions are Filipino J!-powered websites.

2. Our website is a powerful tool to educate the Filipino people about the beauty and (let's be honest OSS is not perfect) the "beast" of Open Source (more like bending them towards beauty, though  ;)  )

3. Let's face it, web technology is one source of income where you don't have to spend listening to the rantings of your boss because you can do it at home or anywhere else for that matter.  So, instead of creating a Services section in this forum, why not do it in our website where clients submit project proposals and developers interested on a particular project may contact the client.  Or we can have our website corporate members (if there is any) to be middle men to protect both client and developers.  Then the website may then generate income from this and be self-sufficient, not dependent on donations (which is not really bad).  What I'm trying to say is, we cannot forever ask for donation.

4. Information, training, and seminars.  The website will be an information center about trainings, seminars, and info on what's happening in the realms of Open Source.

5. Joomla! Hero of the Day!  Features Pinoys successes on using Joomla!

6. Coding Tips, Tricks, and Romances.

7. Open Source Software reviews, testing, and implementations.

8.  ......Now it's your turn to add to this list.......
