"Permission Denied" ???

Post by amasters » Sat May 12, 2007 7:18 pm

I am trying to download documentation for VirtueMart but get this "Permission Denied" message at JoomlaCode for several different download links of the VirtueMart site. I was able to download VirtueMart itself.

I tried to contact the owner of VirtueMart about this but that site's captcha doesn't appear to be working correctly as it continuously tells me my message has been deemed as spam. Needless to say, this is disconcerting.

And I am supposedly logged in at JoomlaCode, at least it tells me I am.

I tried reporting a bug but it I think that's more to report a bug in an extension.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Anne Masters

Can you give us specifics? Which files can not "not" download. Which ones can you download? We only need a couple examples, you do not have to check all of them. Thanks!

Here's two of them:
  • User Manual (.chm - Window Help Format)
  • User Manual (.pdf)
Ooops, I forgot. Here's the one that worked: VirtueMart 1.0.10 COMPLETE PACKAGE

I am able to download the pdf when not logged in:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/virtue ... ?subdir=94

Maybe something has changes since we started this discussion. Give it a try now and let me know. Thanks!

All but one of those is still in the midst of being migrated. Until we hear from the developer, it will just stay on the list that we are working through. As for that one that is not in migration status, it is the admin's right to make it public when he/she feels it is ready.
