Looking for a content bookmarks/favourites module (MyLinks component)
Hello everybody,
I have tried to find such a modul which let a logged user to bookmark (!not for browser bookmarks/favourites) articles he/she likes. I mean that the modul would using starnard Joomla content items and it works similarily like choping charts modules/systems. When user have logged in and if she/he finds an interesting article he/she can bookmark it (or create favourite articles list) within Joomla. He/she may also remove or change the listings.
Are there a such module available ? I have been looking for a long time and shopping charts modules are not suitable form me because they all have "price/quantity/ordering etc." functionality.
Best regards

Re: Looking for a content bookmarks/favourites module
I found similar module I wrote about (Mylinks): http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/
The bad thing is that this module is no longer under the development and it's not compatible (not working) with the latest Joomla 1.0.13.

Have you had any luck finding a component like this? It would be such a useful tool.

I haven't any luck. I also investigated that there are no commercial alternatives available. Olly hope is that somebody would continue the development or start a new component.

This is a very good news Imagine the websites which consists more than 200 internal (links) articles. Users have very convenient way to bookmark most useful articles of the site. Thank you for your interest, I also would like to become a beta tester of the upcoming component.

I am also very interested in this sort of functionality. Perhaps if there is enough interest, we could pool some donations and bribe someone to write it (I also have not Joomla development experience).
My only need is that it would have to be able to run on 1.5, as I am starting a new site with that.
