FPA redirects to home page, throws 301 code

Hello,
I am having trouble running Forum Post Assistant. It simply redirects to home page with no error just a simple 301 code.
I was trying to run it in order to solve other strange unwanted redirects. Renamed .htaccess just in case but it did not affect the issue. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Are the Joomla redirect plugins disabled? Are there any active redirects in your hosting account's control panel?

Hi Charles, thanks for taking the time to respond.
.htaccess is not redirecting anything. I actually renamed it just in case. There are no joomla redirect plugins that I know of, I took a long while checking all of them. The thing is if I can´t run FPA there is little hope anyone can help.
Anyway, I found out my includes/defines.php had been hacked so I restored it and got the virtuemart component up and running again. But I still can´t access the template manager, it redirects me to the admin homepage.

Finally sorted it out.
Found a file called waf.php in administrator/includes which did all the redirects.
It was included in administrator/index.php
Still wandering if some plugin did this or it was an attack.

In my sites there is no such file as waf.php and no such reference to waf.php within index.php either.

did you want to PM me a copy of that file so we can track if its from an extension or a hack?
waf normally means windows application firewall
