Icelandic language package

Hi I am starting a new web with Joomla 5 but there is no language package for Icelandic. Can I copy another language package and adjust to Icelandic?

The Iceland language looks like it needs some contributors.

If you're going to do your own translation, it could be worthwhile contributing that to the Joomla Project.
