Alternative to K2 for Joomla 5 ?

Hello there,

I have a Joomla 3.9 website using K2 v2.6.9
There almost 800 documents in around 150 categories and sub-categories.
It's a multilanguage website, so all documents and categories exist in 6 languages.
In every K2 page, I use Custom fields. So, I would like to find something similar.

I will make an update from J3 to J5.
Unfortunetaly K2 is not working anymore with J4 and J5 versions, so I have to find another component.

Since your experience, what are the best K2 alternative components ?

There are several threads on the forum about this, just search for K2.
Most people here suggest that K2 is not needed as all of its functions can be replicated with J5/4 core.

I don't think that you need any 3rd party to emulate what you had with K2.
Joomla core now supports custom fields and is multi-lingual. Of course the migration will have some pain points, though.
