Re: Propject rejection
Hello Brian!
First off, I will say that I am a fan of JWN. When setting up JoomlaCode, we decided that some changes had to be made and other guidelines had to be modified. As it currently states:
I do hope that you will consider hosting it on Google as you are doing now.

Taken from the frontpage of http://www.JoomlaCode.org on 3-14-2007this is a developer resource for Open Source code ... it is not for commercial projects, non-code projects (ie: it is not a file hosting facility)
I do hope that you will consider hosting it on Google as you are doing now.
Joomla! ...because open source matters

Re: Propject rejection
sadly the google solution just doesn't work well. more people have emailed to say thst it didn't work for them than ever did with the forge. as the only other option is commercial hosting which isn't allowed due to the self promotion rules it just isn't possible to continue. its a shame as I had hoped that it was a useful resource for the advacement of joomla.
guess the 12hours plus it took to produce can now be used for something else.

Hi Brian
I have enjoyed your publication (thanks) and I have successfully subscribed to your Google group.
What are the Self promotions rules that you refer to?
Cheers
