Great job. I've been looking for this type of module for J 1.5 for a few weeks now.

So I noticed that there was a server offset that was giving me the wrong time on my countdown.

Maybe this could be incorporated in better in the future but to get me by I just added in "+21600" (+6 hours) after the variable $actualDate like this:

$actualDate = time() +21600;

It corrects the time but to make it more user friendly you might put in a variable up top with the countdown date which allows a person to put in the number of hours offset and then have the script convert it to seconds and apply it to the server time.

Sorry to say, but it's really bad practice to have to configure some parameters in php files before you install a module. This should be done after installation in the admin panel

True, but I would rather have a module that works on 1.5 than nothing. Maybe in the future this configuration will be moved to the backend.

I tried yours out and it works good only bug I could see is if you have the module copied and displayed in two places on the same page on doesn't count down and the other almost does a double count, causing it to get off track and count down almost 20 seconds too fast per minute.

So for now I'll be using both of these modules.

Good to know about this bug. I'll have a look at it when I have some time.

When running this mod for two separate timers for two events on one page using loadposition it errors out.
