Hi everyone,
I upgraded a test site from 2.5.7 to 3.0.2 using the short term support method BUT the server was running PHP 5.2 instead of 5.3.1, got an error that site could not run with 5.2. (I know I screwed up)
Upgraded the server to php5.3, got the front end running, but the admin backend layout was all messed up, went into templates and changed from BlueStork to Hathor which fixed the layout. I do prefer the Isis template showing on the demo joomla site but it is not listed in my template listing.
Question:
1) Did I mess up anything in the upgrade process that is not showing up
2) Should I do a reinstall of version 3.0.2 and if yes which download file should I use
3) if none of the above is needed, where can I download the Isis template for admin?
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Go to the Extension Manager, click on the tab Discover and see whether ISIS is listed there.

Thanks imanickam, didnt know about that option.imanickam wrote:Go to the Extension Manager, click on the tab Discover and see whether ISIS is listed there.
The way I got part way round an update from 2.5.7 > 3.0.2 was to go into the DB and add the entry for ISIS into the templates table from another install, this activated it, but then I could see in the Extension Manager > Database it said 31 errors for db not being up to date so clicked fix for that too.
Thanks for the pointer.
I think I will probably still build this onto a new install of Joomla 3 using Akeeba or re upload my template changes as not sure I trust the update now, as the site is not yet finished, so I can start it again.

I am having the same problem, but when I go to extensions and use discover, Isis is NOT discovered. However the isis files ARE there in the template directory

I have the same problem: the Isis folder is present but doesn't show up when I click Discover.
After I clicked Purge cache, it still won't show up. And I emptied the browser cache to.
Any other suggestion?
