Where is my feed url?

Trying to set up a feed in the blog, yet what/where is this? I tried the url of the blog layout menu item yet that didn't work.

Documentation didn't say anything about where the feed url is.

Also do I use the syndication feed or feed display... what is the difference?

Syndication Module creates a Syndicated Feed for the page where the Module is displayed. The page has to be a blog layout for the module to show/work. When the module is displayed, click on the RSS icon for a new page to display with appropriate feed URL.

Feed Display module allows the displaying of a syndicated feed from a given feed URL.

O.k. I got the syndicated feed to work, but not the feed display. So I am thinking that the feed display will show the feed on the same page? Do I use the url from syndicated feed page?

Do they both allow rss subscription?

Feed Display is mainly used to show the feed from other sites. An example, if you want to show the feed from Joomla! community site, you have to provide the URL http://community.joomla.org/blogs/commu ... d?type=rss. So, you have to get the RSS Feed URL from the site for which you want to show the feed.

In case if you want to show the feed from your own site, you have to click on the icon RSS on the page that you want the feed from and from the new page displayed, you can get the URL for the feed.

Yeah I used to the url from the syndicated feed, yet I got errors and the feed display didn't display. I used this url: /blog?format=feed&type=rss

RSS feed only available for the following Menu Item Type:-
1) Category Blog
2) Category List
3) Featured Articles

Once you have determined your Menu Item Type, you may just use the following URLs:-
http://your_joomla_url/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=14&Itemid=473&format=feed&type=rss (for RSS)
http://your_joomla_url/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=14&Itemid=473&format=feed&type=atom (for ATOM)
