Please Help! My IP is banned!

Dear Administrator,

I don't know what happened and suddenly my IP is banned and I am not able to use the forum.joomla.org resource. I tried sending email to forum administrator many times, but the mail was not delivered. Hence I am posting here.

I just posted a link to the website and as the action for self promotion, my IP was banned. I sincerely regret my actions on spamming this forum by self promotion. Please accept my apologies for this. You can expect better from me in the future for I will practice better restraint and exhibit behavior that befits the forum rules and guidelines. My IP 182.72.119.66 is banned and I am not able to access the forum. I kindly request you to lift the ban made on my IP and I assure that there will be no violations done from this IP anymore. Please feel free to let me know of your thoughts and concerns over this matter.

Can you try again now? Your post was automatically added to the IP list, not by a person but by the software that detects spam.

Self advertizing indeed is not allowed, but that's not something you will get an immediate ban for if it's noticed by a moderator. Especially if somebody has been active on the forum.

I have checked but still the mentioned IP (182.72.119.66) is banned. I was an active forum contributor for the past 8 months and i have posted around 97 posts. You can check my posts, only in the last post i have pasted the link inside the post. For that my ip has been banned. Let me know what should i do to overcome this!!

Hi,

Your account it not banned, as you would not be able to login or post a message if it was banned.

It looks like your IP address was blocked by at least one blacklists:

If you own a different account which is banned, please share that username with us.
