I am so frustrated with this... >:( I did upgrade a long time ago from Joomla 1.5 and am now using Joomla 2.5.9.

I have a particular main menu item that I cannot get to work.

The website is supposed to go to http://mysite.com/praise but instead it keeps coming up
http://mysite.com/Read%20Private%20Message/praise

I've changed the article the menu links to
I've changed the alias name for the menu, the category and the article

I've tried everything I can think of, but can't fix the stupid problem. I see in the forums that it must be a database problem, but what do I edit?

delete the menu item, make a new one?

Holy Cow! That did it! Thankyou so much!

I thought I did this already... but all I did was remake articles, rename articles and rename the menu id.

np. basically it will force clear the alias from the db and then set a new one.
