Frontend Editing of Modules Embedded using {loadposition}

Post by boldmedia » Wed Jun 10, 2015 6:47 pm

Hey all,

I have a series of articles that each have a unique module assigned to them using {loadposition custompositionx} and I'm attempting to allow the modules to be edited from the frontend. I have set permissions to enable editing for the article, the module, etc, even at the public level as I'm currently just testing. This allows me to edit the article, however I simply see the html and the {loadposition}, I am unable to edit the module itself from the frontend. Is this possible? Or can anyone suggest an alternate method of accomplishing this?

Code: Select all

index.php?option=com_config&controller=config.display.modules&id=95
You have to know the id of the module.
