Hi there!

You need have 755 for folders and 655 for files,
Here some docs:
https://docs.joomla.org/Verifying_permissions

Check this values in System > System Information > Folder Permissions Tab
You can change the permissions via FTP or in your CPanel or similar.

Cheers!

Ha ha, i guess you are using VPS or something. If you change folder to 755 and files to 655 you should change it again files to 644 :D
Then, check the ownership of your account and the permission of Apache/ Nginx which running on your account. After fixed that, it will be OK

What part of that do you not understand ?

Max. Upload Size: 2M | Max. POST Size: 8M
These are to small to upgrade Joomla. Increase to 12M/16M

Max. Execution Time: 30
Increase to 300

What is the Tmp and Log Path set to in Global Configuration?
You can try with:
/home/ikorodcu/public_html/tmp
/home/ikorodcu/public_html/log

I mean logs instead of log
