Display Subcategories and Article Titles in blog layout

Hello, i want a page that shows the following content:

Parent Category Title

Subcategory 1 Title

• Subcategory 1 Article Title Link 1
  Subcategory 1 Article Title Link 2
  Subcategory 1 Article Title Link 3

Subcategory 2 Title

• Subcategory 2 Article Title Link 1
  ...

-------------------------------------

I tried to configure the Blog Category and the Show All Category menu layout but i only have been able to show the subcategory titles (without the articles) or show the articles in blog format (without the subcategories).

Could you help me, please?

You referring to a list? You should be able to achieve this using the back-end "Category" settings (Global Configuration > Articles):

e.g.
* Choose a Layout = "List"
* Subcategory Levels = >1

I think further settings in "Categories" and "List Layouts".

I recently had this exact problem and solved it with a template override for the Category Blog layout. I can see this post is somewhat old at this point but I'll upload the files here in case anyone else has this problem in the future.

Just unzip these files and upload them to:

/templates/[your template name]/html/com_content/category

Then when you assign your menu, instead of "Category Blog" use "New Layout"; it's the exact same thing as Category Blog but now articles are listed below the sub category headings.

Quick question, what can I do if I also wanna bring the article titles?
By deafult, it have the option to show how many articles are in the category but I also wanna show the article titles... Hope I made myself clear.
