Invalid field: Redis Server Port

Post by TotallyLost » Sat Apr 29, 2017 5:49 am

Hi
I'm getting

Error
Invalid field: Redis Server Port

Whenever I save anything in the Global Configuration section.

P.S. Just upgraded to 3.7 never had this error under 3.65

Any ideas as to fix this?

I fixed the problem by manually editing the config file

I am also having the same issue. I get the following error when I'm trying to save my global configuration:

Error
Invalid field: Redis Server Port

I don't know how to fix this! Also (and I don't know if this is related or not) I cannot save changes when editing pages from the front end of the website - I get the following error message:

Warning
Empty solution not allowed.

How do I fix this! I've recently installed an update to Joomla (3.7) and JCE editor (pro).

Can you tell me, what did you edit in the configuration file?

I changed my config file from

Code: Select all

	public $redis_persist = '1';
	public $redis_server_host = 'localhost';
	public $redis_server_port = '0';
	public $redis_server_auth = '';
	public $redis_server_db = '0';

To

Code: Select all

	public $redis_persist = '1';
	public $redis_server_host = 'localhost';
	public $redis_server_port = '6379';
	public $redis_server_auth = '';
	public $redis_server_db = '0';

Hi Jommla Admins

The solution is:

- Go to the global configuration > Server > FTP
- if FTP is inactive: active to option on YES
- entry the port 21 (or the correct port from your hoster)
- if You don't need the FTP: set the option on NO
- save the configuration

finish.

Best
Chris
