Re: Articles and Custom Modules Won't Open
Change error reporting from default to development and tell us the error that you have in this blank page

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'class' (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or '{' or '$' in /home/mcc1967/public_html/libraries/regularlabs/src/EditorButton.php on line 125
Articles anywhere had an update this morning.

Reverted back to the older version and replaced the editorbutton.php file. Seems to be working fine now.

Re: Articles and Custom Modules Won't Open
Very old php version and EOL. I tried joomla 3.8.8 with tinymce, with articles anywhere 7.6.0 and php versions 7.1.18 and 7.0.30 without any issue. I suggest you to use the latest php version of php 7.1(7.1.18 now). It s also much faster.TaylorCTU wrote:5.4.45

Re: Articles and Custom Modules Won't Open
I just began experiencing this today, though it may have been an issue earlier - I just haven't been on the site in a few days.
I'm using PHP 7.0.30. When I go to Global Configuration and set Error Reporting to Development, but it does not seem to matter - I still get a completely blank page when I click on Content -> Articles, Extensions -> Modules.
Articles -> Featured Articles opens, and I'm able to open an article only when I check the box next to it and click the Edit button at the top - not when I click the article name directly. Once open, I cannot save edits to them - I just get a blank page.
With error reporting not returning anything, I'm lost.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ernie

Re: Articles and Custom Modules Won't Open
I scrolled through Plug-Ins and Extensions looking for things which might have caused this and it seems that it was ACL Manager - at least all the functionality for editing articles and modules was restored when I uninstalled it. It was replaced by PWT ACL, and I had both installed simultaneously.
But I'm sure others would like to know how to get Error Reporting results to show up in Development mode - that would have saved me a lot of time and guesswork.
Thank you,
Ernie
