Website horizontally flipped after update to 3.9

Post by stawebnice » Tue Oct 30, 2018 7:01 pm

guys, something is wrong - I made an update on one of my test webs using the button in control panel and the whole web flipped horizontally and is aligned from right now:
http://sabca.stawebnice.com/cenik

(everything, menus - last item if first, modules in left column are in right column, text in articles)

so I took a backup before update, restored it and updated again and suddenly it is ok. Even when I connect it to the database from the flipped one. And now a friend of mine reports that he got the same support request from his customer, who made the update himself...

That sounds like some nasty joke...

Check your Template is up to date
Disable its Template override
Test with Protostar.

The language in Czech language pack is defined as RTL http://sabca.stawebnice.com/language/cs-CZ/cs-CZ.xml.

Try updating or reinstalling the language pack. If that doesn't help, manually edit the file linked above. Change <rtl>1</rtl> to <rtl>0</rtl>.

I notice that there is a second version of the Czech language pack for Joomla! 3.9.0 (ie. cs-CZ_joomla_lang_full_3.9.0v2.zip at http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/jtrans ... ge_id=6406) has been released.

Probably the first version of the language pack (ie. cs-CZ_joomla_lang_full_3.9.0v2.zip) may have had this error. The reason for this behavior is well articulated by SharkyKZ - Thanks SharkyKZ.

Please update your site with the latest version of the Czech language pack and see what happens.
