So?

I can read PHP and HTML and CSS but there's too much detail in the first post and I don't know where the problem is.

How did you create your menu item? Did you publish the menu module in the position navbar?

Hey shaibustephen,

This code is wrong

Code: Select all

<nav class="nav-collapse">
  <ul>
    <jdoc:include type="modules" name="navbar" style="none" />
  </ul>
</nav>
Change it to only

Code: Select all

<jdoc:include type="modules" name="navbar" style="none" />
<nav> and classes can be set in the Advanced tab of the menu module.

Good luck.
Wim

It would be good to know that, when people offer their help, when issues have been resolved.

@shaibustephen: in the time that you have been a member here, you have asked many questions about how to create a template, or "customise" a menu or various other web elements. I have not seen you thank anyone for their help. I have not seen you write that your various problems have been resolved. In other words, other people seem to be attracted to your questions but, when your questions have been answered, you have not acknowledged them.

For that reason only, I have not bothered to respond to the dozens of questions you ask on the forum. It seems to me that you want us to design everything for you for free and to profit from our experience. Well, unless you also make an effort to inform us that the dozens of question you ask on the forum have resolve matters, I don't see why we should waste our time. 8)

I'm not involved with your "other question". I'm only involved with this question that has remained unresolved for over four months. What is the problem with the "Joomla menu not showing up"? How can you have a website, without a main menu, for four months? Very strange, hmm?

Please explain what you plan to do with the main menu not "showing" (and let's resolve this matter) before moving on to other issues. OK?

I have resolved this question.
Apologies for my previous post; I misread it. :-[

How many other questions have you also resolved? Would you like to let us know which ones are outstanding?

How did you resolve the question in this topic? Would you like to share the answer with the rest of the community? ???
