How can I get it to do article title?

I know I am repeating myself but we have other categories set up the same way as this one and they display the article title. This one used to until recently.

I found where the "extra" setting for articles (Search Engine Title) comes from. It's part of the extension OSMeta.
I use that extension that gives me an improved level of control. Just an idea. :)

Thanks Sozzled.

I just tried that, it definitely helps but it seems to only affect single items. I'd have to use it to do all my articles. We add easily 100+ articles per day. Do you know of anything else that could be a more universal fix?

Thanks for your question. I'm pleased that it works for you.

No, I'm not aware of another way to change the browser title for articles. If I was adding 100+ articles every 24 hours (that's four articles an hour or one article every fifteen minutes), I would still use the method that I use. It only takes a few seconds to do this (for each article), doesn't it?

I realise that may not help for the many articles that you already have but I can't think of a better way. If you want to have a distinctive browser page title for each article then you need to add that information somehow.

There is a nice feature of the OSMeta component that allows you to "bulk edit" this information. You might like to try that.

I am not aware of something like this being a core feature of previous versions of J!. I may be wrong about that; I can't say. I can only tell you what I have done and how I've addressed this matter.
