Joomla 3.9.16 is ok.

Could you check the file/folder permissions on the server?
If your Apache webserver does not have the right permissions, then it is not able to write the configuration.php file with all your site settings.

Hello Peter.
First all, I am making a lab to evaluate the product in a future proyect. I had used joomla in 2.x versions.
Them I have total access to the machine where I am installing Joomla.
My configuration:
/------------------------
In apache, in http.conf I have
/-------------------------------------
User apache
Group apache

/------------------------
chown
/------------------------
All Jommla files and the directory with apache:apache

/-----------------
chmod 777 </www.site/> -R directory and files
/---------------------------

Fo this I supose I have some problem with PHP execution right. Really, this i have self invented. I don't know.

I do not found one clear documentatio about configuration.php rights, everyone are especulating, I supposed.

Any Idea, is wellcome. I will continue working, to resolve this.
Thanks for you interest.

777 is not safe, see https://docs.joomla.org/Verifying_permissions

A possible workaround: install Joomla at another computer (eg using XAMPP as webenvironment), use Akeeba Backup to create a .jpa backup, and Akeeba Kickstart to restore that .jpa backup at your CentOS server.

well, today finally I have resolved. The installation finished, correctly. Now the question, what it was wrong?.
Really I don't know.
I did begin from a new virtual Machine. And with ordenated procedure, with the adquired experience previously, and a [youtube] tutorial step by step. Finally the tutorial does not make any special, this make same I did it.
But more ordenated it.
Certain must be necesary chage a sql script to replace InnoDB and use MyISAM mode. And finally use MariaDB.
Well, now I am tired, I shall review the installation process.
It's necesary continue with my lab, to obtain any conclusion.
Thanks for interest for me, help me. And your final recomendatios are very usefull, I shall practice them.
Thaks pe7er.
