My newest pages are not getting crawled or indexed by Google

Post by nbryant » Sat Jun 13, 2020 6:56 pm

I have never knowingly had an issue with Google not indexing my site, but my recent last two articles have not been indexed. I have had a dig but I just can't find a reason for why this is happening now. The content is original.

Here are the two pages :

https://ultrarunningcommunity.com/revie ... -pro-watch
https://ultrarunningcommunity.com/revie ... -ld-2-shoe

Can anyone please help me out!

Thanks.

Be patient. Google (and other search engines) will index websites at a time or frequency that Google will use. If you want to submit a URL for indexing in Google, learn how to use the Google Search Console. Similar facilities exist for other search engines.

Not a J! issue. Besides, I found the same first of the pages that you "reported" through Google, anyway.

Make sure you haven't made any of the following changes to your site:

1 - add your site a Robots.txt File
2 - add “noindex” Meta Tag to your page metadata

regarding number 1, robots.txt file shouldn't affect your indexing unless you made a specific rule that asks the robots (crawlers) not to index.

Yes, I forgot to specify:

1 -

Code: Select all

User-agent: googlebot # all Google services
Disallow: /private/ # disallow this directory

User-agent: googlebot-news # only the news service
Disallow: / # disallow everything

User-agent: * # any robot
Disallow: /something/ # disallow this directory
2 -
For metatag:

Code: Select all

<meta name="robots" content="noindex" />
