I guess it could be the path you have set in your configuration file:

it should be http://sapromo.com and not http://sapromo.com/

OK?

The "/" meshes with the image paths.

Thanks for that.

I have not change the confirguration.php file (removed "/") and it works lot's better but after viewing 4/5 pictures they went blank again. Are there any other locations I need to change the "/"?

Where did you make the changes in the first place?

$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://sapromo.com/';
to
$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://sapromo.com';

Seems to be a template issue, regarding CSS. I would suggest you ask RocketTheme about this.

What about in the .htaccess file, i have the following code:

########## The code to redirect http://www.mywebsite.com to mywebsite.com follows:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.sapromo.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://sapromo.com/$1 [L,R=301]
########## End redirect section

Do I need to change RewriteRule ^(.*) http://sapromo.com/$1 [L,R=301] to
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://sapromo.com$1 [L,R=301] ?

Open up http://www.gocashiers.com/templates/rhu ... cssSat.css and look for (almost at the end):
Oh, the problem was I changed the index.php file to have it load a different CSS file every day (hence the cssSat.css -- Sat is Saturday).  So when I went to change the CSS in the Joomla admin site, it made the changes to the old CSS file.

Can you explain how this fix works?  I saw the two height properties.

I've got a different IE problem with Simple Image Gallery...  In Firefox, everything is great - in IE, the images are "spotted" with white pixels in the dark areas.  I removed the xml code in the template header hoping that would help.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi all there,

I give it a new try.

I work with the template versatility ii. Firefox=OK but IE6 when i open an image all my thumbnails dissapear. Could someone please give me the correct solution. I've tried everything that is posted but non of these are MY solution.
I also have TABS & SLICES installed. Could that be the problem? (i hope not 'cause i need them both).
Work with Joomla 1.0.12 eCommerce edition.

Please help

Hello,

I am also using solarflare_ii on my site, and made the edits to my template.php as recommended.  I commented out the xml declaration, and I also did the replacement that was suggested in the <DOCTYPE code.

Everything looks perfect in FF, but IE6.0 still shows my images at the top of the site, and not the top of the screen, and without the blacked-out bg.

Ideas?  (aside from changing the template? ;))

What suggestion in the "<DOCTYPE..." ??? You need to remove the XML declaration!

The white pixels are bad IE rendering behaviour. In other words, IE is crap. Upgrade at least to IE7. :)

We can't do much about this...

Two problems in IE7:
Sometimes the page won't display at all (..."cannot open the Internet site...").
When I retry several times, the page finally shows - with thumbnails. But clicking one opens a blank window with no navigation buttons.

Reading this post, I've tried:

Changing
echo '';
to
//echo '';

And:
Changing

';
?>

to

No luck. Any solutions?

My index.php starts with:

<?php
defined( '_JEXEC' ) or die( 'Restricted access' );
JPlugin::loadLanguage( 'tpl_SG1' );
?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="<?php echo $this->language; ?>" lang="<?php echo $this->language; ?>" >
<head>
<jdoc:include type="head" />

Could anybody help me?
