Package not uninstallable [SOLVED]

Package not uninstallable [SOLVED]

If I create a package that contains a module or two, the package cannot be uninstalled.
I get a message, Unable to locate manifest file.

Problem caused by incorrect naming of the package xml file.
Example
old name file
adminutilitykit.xml
new filename
pkg_adminutilitykit.xml

Packages now uninstall.
