Cannot deinstall protected JSN SUN framework before migrating to Joomla 4

Hi,

I have to uninstall the JSN SUN framework plugin (protected) and the JSN Sky 2 template before I can migrate to Joomla 4. However it does not work.
I have set protection of plugin and template to 0 in the extensions table but this also does not work.
What can I do to uninstall these items ? The company Joomlashine that made this plugin and template does not exist anymore, so I cannot update the files.

You should not change the "protection" field to disable those 3rd party extensions.
Instead, change "enabled" to 0.

Works for the template but JSN SUN cannot be disabled, "edit state is not permitted"
Or do I have to change this somewhere in the database itself ?

OK I managed to disable the JSN SUN framework, but the Joomla 4 pre-update check still gives a warning ...
I'm sure the template and plugin are not compatible since the company making it already stopped its activities several years ago ...

Are both extensions disabled?
Have you created a backup (e.g. with Akeeba Backup) ?

When I migrate client websites, I usually do not do that on a live site but on my local server.
After a successful migration, I create a backup and restore that on the live server.
