article on left in cassiopeia template

Obviously i want the article to be in the middle - i think it iscalled the "main-top" position.
Am using the cassiopeia temple.
How do I set the article position?

You don't set "article position". The main content area of (any) template is usually the "Component area". Module positions such as "main-top" are added in some templates - and the module position names vary from template to template.

So I don't know what you're asking. Please post a link to your site. If it is not live, then please post screen-shots to demonstrate what you're asking about.

Unless you created a module and place it in "main-top" I don't see how what you describe is possible.

I could not see the Module Positions on your site because Preview Module Positions Option is not enabled in Template Manager.

Enable it and visit:

I had extrension problems with fabrik.
Some problems resolved by disabling this extension but not this one

I have disabled every extension that is not part of the joomla project.
Problem remains and is on all pages

You have a component in the Content area that uses tables.

The problem was with a module published at the top of the page. I disabled it and all is OK

So, your article was actually a module after all. That's what I suggested in my first reply. . Glad you got it resolved.
